The Andover Planning Commission, the members of which also serve as Andover’s Zoning Board of Adjustment, will have one open four-year position to begin 2025.

The Zoning Board of Adjustment meets monthly and is responsible for issuing Subdivision, Variance and Conditional use permits and enforcement of Andover’s Zoning Regulations.  Members are appointed annually by the Select Board for terms of four (4) years.

The Planning Commission meets only infrequently when the Town Plan, the Zoning Regulations and/or the Subdivision Regulations need to amended or re-adopted.

Please contact the Town Office with any questions, otherwise submit a letter of interest to the Andover Select Board at:

953 Weston Andover Road Andover, Vermont, 05143 or to clerk@vermontel.net

Last year our Regional Planning Commission, the Mount Ascutney Regional Commission (MARC), was awarded a Federal grant from US DOT to develop a comprehensive safety action plan with a goal and strategies to get to zero deaths on all MARC roadways for all road users. As part of this effort, MARC collected data on serious and fatal injuries on roadways in our region which you can see here:

StoryMap: Mount Ascutney Safety Action Plan

They want to hear from you! MARC would like to know what the data doesn’t show, which is when and where you feel unsafe on MARC roadways.

Please fill out the following Survey: MARC SS4A Input Tool

Reach out to Logan Nicoll with any questions. lnicoll@marcvt.org
