The Town of Andover, along with many others throughout the State of Vermont, are experiencing an extreme shortage of road salt.
The road crew will only be able to salt the paved roads sparingly, which will be most noticeable during precipitation events.
Public safety is of the utmost importance to the Town and we will do our very best with the resources we have, while continuing to seek
alternate sources of salt as well as alternate materials as feasible.
Please travel with an abundance of caution, especially during weather events.
The Andover Zoning Board of Adjustment, which also serves as Andover’s Planning Commission, currently has one vacancy.
The Zoning Board of Adjustment meets monthly and is responsible for issuing Subdivision, Variance and Conditional use permits
and enforcement of Andover’s Zoning Regulations. Members are appointed annually by the Select Board for terms of four (4) years.
The Planning Commission meets only infrequently when the Town Plan, the Zoning Regulations and/or the Subdivision Regulations
need to be amended or re-adopted.
